PROVINSI KE 34 INDONESIA

JAKARTA - Jumlah provinsi di Indonesia bukan lagi 33 namun menjadi 34 provinsi . Komisi II DPR dan Kemendagri  pada hari senin (22/10) menetapkan Kalimantan Utara (Kaltara) sebagai provinsi baru hasil pemekaran dan daerah otonom baru (DOB).

Selain Kaltara sebagai provinsi baru, empat DOB yang terbentuk adalah Kabupaten Manokwari Selatan dan Kabupaten Pegunungan Arfak (keduanya Papua Barat),  Kabupaten Pangandaran (Jawa Barat), serta Kabupaten Pesisir Barat (Lampung). Empat kabupaten baru itu dibentuk dalam RUU terpisah dengan Kaltara.

Tourism Indonesia Mart & Expo 2012

Pasar Pariwisata Indonesia  or Tourism Indonesia Mart & Expo (TIME) was officially opened in Bandar Lampung, Lampung, as a host of TIME 2012, Tuesday (09/10/2012) night. Indonesia tourism event will take place on 10-12 October 2012.

"TIME initiated in 1994 by Indonesia Tourism Board and supported by the tourism industry and government. TIME organized to keep the tourism image of Indonesia in the international market," said Chairman of the Indonesian Tourism Society, Ponco Sutowo TIME at the opening of 2012.

 North Sumatra Province located at 1 ° - 4 ° north latitude and 98 ° - 100 ° east longitude, land area of ​​North Sumatra 71,680 km ².
North Sumatra can basically be divided into:
• East Coast
• Bukit Barisan Mountains
• West Coast
• Nias Island

The east coast is a region in the province due to the rapid development of infrastructure requirements are relatively more complete than other areas. West coast is an area that is quite narrow, with the composition of the population consisting of the Batak, Minangkabau and Aceh. But culturally and etnolinguistik, this region into the Minangkabau culture and language.

 Aceh is the westernmost province of Indonesia, located on northwest tip of Sumatera Island. The capital of these province is Banda Aceh. The area bordered by the bay of Bengal to the North, the Indian Ocean to the West, the Strait of Malacca in the East, and North Sumatera province in the Southeast and South.

On December 26, 2004 earthquake and tsunami happened there. About 126,900 people died and 37,000 disappeared, even this disaster resulted in some coastal area in Aceh disappeared from the map. It’s an earthquake and tsunami was the worst for 10 years. Currently residents are building Aceh again, and tried to forget the nightmare.

MUDIK

Mudik atau Pulang Kampung saat hari raya adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak tradisi di  negeri ini. Indonesia dengan penduduk mayoritas Muslim bisa dipastikan pada saat Hari Raya Idul Fitri akan tiba, maka sebagian besar penduduknya akan melakukan aktivitas Mudik ini.

Segala persiapan dilaksanakan oleh pemerintah dan swasta untuk menyambut hal tersebut, mulai dari perbaikan dan penambahan sarana serta pengaturan lalu lintas guna menjamin keselamatan dan kenyamanan para pemudik.
